ENERGY 21 SEMINAR, AUGUST 2008
Community energy transition
Local Councils, community groups, energy organisations and members of Transition Towns Groups met, learnt, and planned positive actions in the face of peak oil and climate change.
Energy 21 and CAT joined up with INFORSE - the Europ-wide network of renewable energy organisations, of which CAT is a member - to bring 30 delegates to discuss and learn how to set up community managed renewable energy projects.
The Energy 21 seminar provided an exciting forum where community groups could network and explore visions of how they can meet the challenges of the 21st century delivering both climate and energy security.
The seminar provided the fantastic settings and surroundings for people to network, meet and most importantly share and learn from each other.
