Events Calendar
Throughout the year, the Centre for Alternative Technology hosts a variety of events and activities designed to enhance your experience as a visitor. These range from hour-long specialist tours to all day events and children’s activities. We also have free audio tours to guide you around the Centre.Our 2008 events are listed below. Check again soon for more details and additional events throughout the year. On occasion it is necessary for us to alter the timings or content of these events. NOW OPEN ON THURSDAY EVENINGS: THE QUARRY CAFE Spend an evening relaxing in the Quarry Café, CAT’s vegetarian wholefood restaurant in Machynlleth.Whether you want a light meal for two or a chat with friends over a slice of cake, the Quarry Café will offer a warm welcome and as always, delicious locally sourced organic meals, drinks and snacks. Thursday evenings, open till 11pm, last food orders 9pm Bring your own alcoholic drinks

| KIDS' ACTIVITIES: Autumn Half Term | | Sunday 26th October - Sunday 2nd November 2008 | Special holiday activities where kids can learn how to reduce their impact on the earth. The programme includes interactive theatre, bug and slug hunts, hands-on workshops, and the amazing video-kaleidoscope shows. Free with entry ticket. |
