CAT's green ideas are not only fun to explore, they are infectious too. So much so that Mid Wales' Dyfi Valley has now gained a reputation as the UK's number one destination for any ecological family break. From the beautiful beaches and dunes at Ynyslas and Aberdyfi where dolphins can be seen, to the RSPB nature reserve at Ynys-Hir in the Dyfi Estuary, the green experience continues. Such attractions are supported by the spectacular Cambrian Coast Railway and the National Bicycle Network, Sustrans, and Greenstiles bicycle hire in Machynlleth. Award-winning green Bed & Breakfasts are also available in the area providing home grown organic vegetarian food. Contact: 0800 27 37 47 or www.mid-wales-tourism.org.uk |
