CAT Visitor Centre: Plan your Visit

Children try out wind simulation machine

Built in an old slate quarry in the foothills of Snowdonia our visitor centre has 7 acres of interactive displays, organic gardens, cafe, shop and adventure playground. Living more sustainably saves money, creates green jobs, provides a healthier lifestyle and makes sense.

IMPORTANT! November 2nd 2009 to March 27th 2010 entrance to the visitor centre is free for all!

During that time, the site is undergoing thorough renovations, and some areas and displays might be closed or differ from our original guidebook. You will find here a weekly update on the work done onsite. Our Information Desk, Shop and Restaurant remain open. Our staff will thrive to continue providing you with the solutions you seek to climate change issues.
Come and see the changes happen!
