With a fully vegetarian and vegan menu and with many of our quality ingredients grown in CAT’s allotments, we really understand the importance of good food.

Our bespoke seasonal menus are tailor made to suit your requirements and all food is freshly prepared on-site. Choose from a light working lunch, a hot and cold buffet, or a served sit-down dinner. Small groups can even opt to go through the queue of the visitor centre cafe.

With gardens bursting with seasonal produce and a team of dedicated gardeners and volunteers to grow and harvest the crop, our kitchens use herbs, salad and veg straight from our plot to your plate. Where possible, ingredients that can not come directly from our organically managed allotments are locally sourced, organic and fairtrade.

Have fresh pizzas cooked in CAT's clay pizza oven. You can even build your own clay oven first on one of our short courses!

Proudly vegetarian

We have one of the longest established vegetarian cafes in Britain. A low or no meat diet is better for the environment, and a vegan diet is best of all. This is because plant-based diets use much less energy, water and land. Our Zero Carbon Britain report proposes changes to land use in Brtain to reflect what we see as a necessary change in diet.

Donnelly's Bar

Organic beers, wine and spirits are served in Donnelly's bar, a comfortable social area adjacent to the Theatre Foyer exhibition or catering area, providing a comfortable social area for your delegates.
