CAT Stories: Tom Robinson

Tom is CEO of Adaptavate, an award-winning company rethinking and redesigning the way building materials are produced, used and disposed of. Using his dissertation to develop a product that balances performance, workability, and sustainability he went on to set up the company with another CAT graduate shortly after graduating. Adaptavate now employs graduates of CAT and in 2020 was awarded £500,000 by Innovate UK to further develop techniques to take CO2 from the atmosphere and other CO2 emitting processes, such as lime and cement.
