Join us for another free online webinar. In this session CAT lecturer Louise Halestrap will offer an introduction to compost toilets, looking at how they work, design and maintenance factors, and showcasing CAT’s many and varied systems.

Our new series of free online webinars will feature different speakers, from our Graduate School lecturers to Short Course tutors, talking on a wide array of sustainability related topics, from energy and water provision to how we can create a zero carbon Britain.

Compost Toilets

During this webinar CAT lecturer Louise Halestrap will explore the theory and practice of compost toilets, as well as discussing factors to consider when building your own. Louise will take us on a virtual tour of some of CAT’s onsite compost toilets, looking at traditional systems through to innovative designs.

If you’re interested in building, buying or just assessing the potential for a compost toilet, there will also be time to ask any questions you may have.
