In this webinar, Zero Carbon Britain Hub Training Manager and former headteacher, Amanda Smith discusses how we can support young people in engaging with climate action.

The recording was made on 29 July 2020 at the time of the live webinar.

Education and climate change

In the last couple of years, we have seen a massive increase in the engagement of children and young people with environmental action.

Amanda explores the impact this has on young people’s emotional wellbeing as well as anxiety they may feel about climate change, how we can support young people and talk about climate change in an age-appropriate way.

Find out about the work that the Centre of Alternative Technology is doing with children, families, schools and universities to tackle this challenging subject, and get some ideas about how to begin, as well as develop, positive conversations about climate change.
