CAT is now open to visitors, with a range of key measures in place to help keep you and others safe during your visit.

Explore the links below to read about what we’re doing, and what you can do to help.

We are operating a phased reopening, starting with pre-booked visits:

  • Our Visitor Centre is open for pre-booked visits. Please see our ‘Visit CAT’ pages for information on how to book, what to expect during your visit, and what measures we have in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
  • Our online Ecostore is now open, full of gifts, goodies, gadgets and great books.
  • From 5 September you’ll be able to join us at CAT for one of our short courses. Take a look at our Short Courses pages to see what’s available and to read about the measures we’ve put in place to keep you safe.
  • From 13 September we’ll be welcoming our postgraduate students back to CAT for on-site study visits. Find out more on our Graduate School pages.

If you’d like to book a group visit or hire our conference or meeting spaces, please get in touch and we can help plan your visit.

Visit Wales. Safely.

If you’re visiting Wales from elsewhere, please remember that different measures may be in place. Take a look at the Welsh Government guidelines for up-to-date information, and please join us in making your promise to Wales.

Thank you to our amazing supporters

Everyone at CAT would like to say a massive and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of our members and supporters who have been there for us during this difficult time.

Your support has helped us to develop online resources so that we could keep sharing zero carbon solutions with thousands of people across the UK and beyond while our site was closed. It has also helped to cover gaps in our income from cancelled courses, events and visits.

We’ve been incredibly touched by the support that we have received. Thank you.

Our CAT at Home resources and online courses and events have been so popular that we plan to continue developing these – we’ll keep you posted!
